In this episode I wanted to highlight couple of my works - the 'Monthly Journal' and the book - 'Heart & Mind of a Leader - Creating Your Own Path in Life Through Continuous Learning, Self-Discovery, and Genuine Leadership.'

I am very proud of both of these works of mine and, do believe that they can be helpful for everyone who is interested in the art of personal development, goal-setting, journaling, planning, and leadership.

Thanks for listening.

Some of the key questions and points that I cover in this episode are:

  • Why it is always important to consider both sides of any situation? What are some of the potential negative outcomes if and when we do not look at each situation from a big picture perspective, considering all options and alternatives vs. immediately focusing on the negativity and difficulty in a situation at hand?
  • It's not as bad as it may seem, it's all about how we look at each obstacle that we face in our lives. Things can be good if we focus on finding good even at times when things may be difficult. What are you focusing on when faced with difficulty? Are you looking for a solution or keep dwelling about the problem?

  • What it's like living in constant state of fear of failure or making mistakes? How does us being is such mindset state effects our performance and everyday life?

  • Are you creating a positive change and providing a resolution to a problem or question when speaking in a group setting or are you saying something just because you feel that you need to say something? Adding benefit to a conversation or creating an empty noise

Some of the key questions and points that I cover in this episode are:

  • Process and speed with which we create excuses and not following through on our commitments, promises and goals is a rocky road filled with excuses and false promises to ourselves and others - why are we doing that to ourselves every day, every year?
  • What are some of the key drivers behind our decisions to give up and stop focusing on what we were working towards and wanted to achieve?
  • Are we expecting results too soon, living in the state of immediate gratification, or we are we simply not fully committed to go after our goals?
  • What does it take to establish new habits or to overwrite an existing ones? New habits do not get established overnight, it takes time, sometimes a lot of time, patience, dedication and commitment. Do we really want to create new habits and improve our present and future or we are we just saying that we do because it sounds good to us and others?
  • New Years Resolution goals are simply and illusion that many of us create every year just to knowingly create false perception of goal-setting and commitment and to feel good about ourselves, at least for a short period of time. Why not set and stick to our commitments every day of the year? Why not stop making false promises and lie to ourselves when setting new goals?

  • What does 'planting the right seed' means when it comes to personal development, foundation establishment, goal setting, self-education, and investment in personal growth?

  • Hiding behind 'New Years Resolution' in order to procrastinate and avoid taking any action to create change, or to keep driving towards our wants and needs. Why do we choose to procrastinate and wait until next New Years to reset and start again, establish new goals, or update/'rewrite existing plans and goals? Why not start now?
  • Why are we so quick to give up so easily on a particular goal or habit creation, leading to loss of forward momentum?

Some of the key questions and points that I cover in this episode are:

  • What it's like living the life without regret? Why many people choose to go through life in the constant state of regret?
  • Different ways to looks a life's challenges and roadblocks as very important life's lessons. It's all a matter of interpretation. So, how are you going to interpret difficulties that you may be facing now or in the future?
  • The importance of having the right mindset, what does that mean and how to live the life in the right, optimistic, and positively-focused mindset?
  • Expecting positive outcome vs. thinking what may not work as planned. How do you expect for things to change for a better if all we are doing is dwelling on our failures, misfortunes, and difficulties vs. looking for opportunities on what can be done, what you can do to improve less than desired situation that you may find yourself in?
  • Using doubts and lack of confidence of other people around you as a fuel to try harder, smarter, believing in yourself and your abilities, creating the life that you want to live
  • We can create barriers to our own success and our future, or using life's lessons learned and use them to our own advantage. Some of the key questions and points that I cover in this episode are:

  • How to address things that are bothering us, and things that we want to change?
  • Why so many are struggling with creating changes, trying, stepping out of comfortable feeling of security and comfort, and stepping into unknown, while proving everyone and ourselves all that we are capable of achieving?
  • Different forms of fear - are we ready and committed to change?
  • Why are we so afraid to try something new, that may bring us that happiness, satisfaction, and what we are seeking to achieve in life?
  • We don't know what we don't know - creating reasons for not trying to avoid appear unconfident, unexperienced, uneducated. Facing the fear of potential failure every day
  • Nobody knows about your internal fears and roadblock other than you - so, why fear what other people may think of you or your actions?
  • Instead of thinking of and focusing on what could go wrong, why not think about what could go right and change our present and future for a better?
  • Am I creating an 'empty noise' and look for different excuses for not trying, or do I actually take steps towards that what I say that I want and try to change my present, looking for opportunities around me? This is a question that we should all answer when considering change
  • Fear does not exist until it is created in our own mind and becomes the reality that we choose to follow

  • Why so many people choose to stop or quit before reaching the 'finish line', before completing that what we start?
  • Could lack of believe in ourselves or our colleagues be the reason why we choose to stop trying and quit? Why not try, follow through until we reach the end and then evaluate whether the end result was success or failure
  • How can sport serve as a great example where determination, persistence, and desire to win it tested every step of the way? Do Olympic athletes stop half-way through training, or stop after unsuccessful attempt or failure, or do they get up and keep trying?
  • How can we use sport competitive spirit example in business and in our careers to find success, reach and cross the finish line?
  • What can we do when nobody believes in you, or when your team have quit on you? Do we focus on our end-goal and keep pushing forward regardless of any obstacle or doubt on our path or just give up?
  • What separates winners from losers, or successful person from someone who is not?
  • Every day we face a decision whether we want to be great and win or be mediocre and stand still or move backwards. What decision are you going to make today?
